Shower and Bathtub Installation or Replacement
Mark was very friendly and professional. Spend time understanding the issue and coming up with a cost effective solution. He was good in communication and explaining things to be done. I had a steam shower installed by other contractor who did a horrible job leading to leaks and issues. Mark corrected the existing drain and installed new drain, added protection to the wood floor. I strongly recommend him for any of your handyman needs and we will certainly hire him in the future.Mar 9, 2017Verified
Water Feature Repair and Maintenance
This guy is a fraud, he took a job at my house and didn’t have the skills or expertise to fix it. I paid him what he charged and ended up with a bigger problem on my water feature than I started with - I would not recommend him for any kind of service, he has no idea what he is doing. After realizing he couldn’t get the job done he started to come up with excuses, and demanding more money. I honestly wish I had not hired him as I was swindled out of my $$$. He also promised to come back and plaster the terrible job he had done on my water feature but we never heard from him again. If you are look my for a competent, honest and skilled handyman this NOT your guy. Do know at any cost hire him!Apr 1, 2018VerifiedMark Teck's reply
Complete contradiction to my reputation.
Electrical and Wiring Repair
Mark saved me about $700 on a meterbox installation project and he really, really, really went above and beyond. There were some hiccups with the city that we ran into which required an inspection that the power company initially told me I didn't need, but he rolled with the punches, and finished everything super cleanly. Mark went out of his way to make sure my project was done in a clean, professional, up-to-code manner, and even assisted in hauling away some of my junk and scrap metal at no additional cost to me. Aside from his professional manner and high quality work, Mark is just an all-around good guy who is really looking to give you a good deal on your handyman projects. I will definitely hire Mark again for future home projects.May 19, 2017Verified
Hot Tub and Spa Installation
We hired Mark to do the electrical work for our new hot tub and wire it up. Mark was awesome to work with. We discussed the different options to provide enough power to the hot tub, and which one would be the cheapest. He also was very knowledgeable about the codes that we should adhere too and made sure not to cut any corners that would violate codes. Mark had to buy more materials when the job was almost complete, but he didn't raise his price from what we had already agreed upon. To top it off, we had a broken gate that he fixed without us asking (Not a ploy to get an extra buck out of us -- just him being a good dude)! Mark was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a skilled electrician or any other "handyman" projects.Mar 29, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do. To be fair to both parties I prefer hourly rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First is to gain a good understanding of the work to be done and the client's expectations for completion. Then do my best to be on time, on budget, and deliver as promised.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a student and if i dont know how to do something, I will when I am done. I attended community college for welding, itt tech for drafting, seminars for hydrolics, machining and many others on the job or self taught.
