About
Jacob has been playing guitar since May 2004 and has been teaching since November 2010. He holds a Jazz Composition degree from the University of Utah. Jacob strongly believes in having students learn things that they enjoy while also making sure they have a great understanding of music and guitar technique.
When you see a student succeed and grow it can be a very fulfilling experience, this is a skill that they can keep with them for the rest of their lives. It's also nice getting to know not only the students but the student's families, I've met a lot of cool people through teaching guitar.

He was great! He got right back to me and we set up a free lesson so I could see if we would be able to mesh. I unfortunately broke my finger before the lesson but will contact him again when it heals. Thanks!
