Chris B. says, "Note to future self: Anytime you renovate a home and have the walls open, make sure you run all the wiring you might need before you close everything back up—Ethernet to bedrooms, wiring for access points, security cameras, and anything else you might want down the road. And if you don’t do that…call DC Electric. I learned this lesson the hard way, and DC Electric did a fantastic job helping me solve it. I needed to retrofit my home with Ethernet in multiple bedrooms, access points throughout the property, and security cameras in very specific locations around the exterior of my home. With finished walls and some difficult areas to access, this was far from a straightforward job. Justin, Kaleb, and the DC Electric team were creative and flexible in figuring out how to get cabling exactly where I needed it while minimizing unnecessary disruption to the house. There were several areas where the easiest answer could have simply been, “We can’t get there.” Instead, they took the time to think through the problem, explain the options, and explore different approaches to accomplish what I was trying to do. I especially appreciated the communication and attention to detail. When something was challenging, they explained why, walked me through the alternatives, and made sure I understood the tradeoffs before moving forward. They genuinely cared about meeting the requirements of the project rather than just finding the quickest solution. The project ultimately took a little longer than originally anticipated, but I’d much rather have a team take the extra time and care necessary to get the work done right. In the end, they got everything across the finish line, stayed within budget, and delivered the setup I was looking for. A huge thank-you and kudos to Justin in particular for taking ownership of the project midway through, seeing it through to completion, and making sure everything was finished to a high standard. Kaleb and Hunter also did wonderful work in beginning of the project, and I really appreciated the expertise, patience, and effort from the entire team. Five stars for DC Electric. I’m very happy with the finished product and would absolutely work with them again for future electrical, networking, or low-voltage projects. Thanks again to Justin, Caleb, and the entire DC Electric team!"See more
