I have always enjoyed helping people look and feel their best. I specialize in bridal, editorial and commercial makeup. I have extensive training through MAC but enjoy using many different luxury brands. I am passionate about skincare, and also supporting and using hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and/or vegan products and brands.
I began my makeup artist career in 2011, soon after graduating high school. Right away, I had many opportunities to work with many talented people. Some of the companies I have worked for include Number 4 Haircare, Solestruck, and Uptown Cheapskate. In 2013, I was the makeup artist for Bailey Bute who went on to winning the 2014 NAHA for Best Newcomer. From 2014 to 2015, I taught an Advanced Makeup Artistry Course at the Acaydia School of Aesthetics. In 2017, I had the opportunity to be the key hair and makeup artist for my first film, a horror movie filmed in Helper, Utah. I was an artist for MAC for 4 years and freelanced throughout those years.

Lauren is amazing!! She was so patient with me during my trial in helping figure out exactly what I wanted and what we ended on was perfect! She showed up a little early on my wedding day which was such a help since we were rushing with everything else and when I realized that I had forgotten my tattoo coverup makeup she jumped right into helping me cover it with the makeup she had! I felt so so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Lauren!

Lauren was so amazing! She did my makeup for my Flamenco show and was extremely detail oriented. She made sure I was happy with each of the components to the overall look and made sure I had an active role in choosing lipstick, foundation, eyeshadow, etc. I would highly recommend her for your event!

Lauren did an amazing job with my Halloween makeup. I received tons of compliments for the glamorous dead look I was going for. She only had a picture I found online and made it look better then the picture. Lauren was professional, made me feel comfortable and was a pleasure to talk with. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are many variables that influence my pricing. I always offer a free consultation through email, text or over the phone. I do give discounts for parties of 3+. The only fee I ever add is if the travel is more than 25 miles from Salt Lake City.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a questionnaire I will send new customers that has various questions about their skincare and makeup preferences. For bridal makeup I highly recommend a makeup trial. During this trial is when we figure out the exact look and I write down every detail we decide on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended an 80 hour makeup course in 2011, and then assisted established makeup artists so I could continue learning. I began working at MAC in 2014 and MAC generously sends all of their employees to a week-long training course. I attended this MAC training in Portland, OR and learned from some of the best artists and trainers in the business. In 2018, I attended the Makeup Show in Chicago and took The Perfect Bride course taught by Autumn Scruggs who is a successful makeup artist in Los Angeles.
