Paula was an incredible mathtutor for our son, helping him get himself across the finish line of the International Baccalaureate exams and into college. Her dedication and preparation for each session was immense; her patience and capacity to “walk” with my son as he solved the problems and gained confidence was really remarkable. My son is in 7th grade , and I couldn’t help him any longer . I decided to look for a online tutor. I was a little hesitant using an online service ,but my son needed help. I Looked through so many tutors, and finally chose Ms. Paula . All I can say, I’m extremely happy with her service. My son is very comfortable with her. She communicates very well with you , and listens to your concerns and your child needs. She’s consistent and punctual. She explains and helps your child understand in detail the problem. Most importantly, he is improving. I highly recommend her service if you are looking for a mathtutor.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
NEW CLIENT PROMOTION
Don't miss this great opportunity! For the first 4 weeks, classes are only $80 an hour! That's a $20 discount PER HOUR!!! After that, prices go back to the regular $100 an hour.
I strive to have a fair, competitive price that is also within reach for most families.
-Discounts: 15% off when paying for 4 weeks in advance. Missed classes are NOT refundable nor transferable.
-Fees: STARTING JANUARY 6TH, 2025 cancellations made 6 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a $30 fee. No-shows will be subject to a $50 fee.
-Referral bonus (for every referral that becomes a customer) is a $25 discount applicable to the next payment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting new families and learning about them. First, the parents, the student, and I would schedule and meet in a 15-minute zoom call to get to know each other and to come up with a plan specifically for the child's needs. During the call, we will talk about a weekly meeting time, the frequency of meetings, how to send materials to work on, how to use zoom, payments, and answer any doubts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education is very important for me. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Management and a Minor in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. In the near future, I plan to get a master's in Mathematics Education and Psychology. My dream is to get a PhD to become a university professor.
