Chris is terrific! Friendly, polite and he knows what he's doing. He's willing to meet early in the morning which is great for my schedule. I can already tell a difference after just a few weeks of working out with him. Chris is always on time for training appointments and very helpful and understanding when I needed to reschedule. Chris knows his stuff. I first started my fitness journey after my body fat percentage had hit a personal high of 37%. Chris is an amazing trainer and in my opinion the best hands down. We sat down and set goals I wanted to achieve on our first consultation and he gave me a personalized overview of what it would take to meet my goals I workout with Chris 3 times a week with a coworkers. I love working out with him! He always makes us feel comfortable while still pushing us to be the best we can be. I would strongly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a personal trainer in Salt lake city. Chris is an excellent trainer. We have fun the whole time, but work hard, too. I have a bad back, and whenever an exercise comes up that wouldn't be good for me, he's able to alter it so I can still participate. His workouts are challenging at first but he encouraged me along the way. I can see the results and definitely feel them as well. Chris is a great trainer. He is diligent in creating a plan based upon a client's interests and melding with his expertise. Like a good coach, he motivates and challenges during training sessions. Working with Chris as my personal trainer has been great. Chris was able to quickly explain and instill proper technique for strength training and help me correct imbalances at the same time. Aside from gaining power I've also learned different stretches I can do anywhere. If you want to achieve your goals the right way then definitely train with chris.Jan 12, 2019
I have been personal training my Chris for a month and a half. He is knowledgeable about fitness. The workouts are catered to my abilities, challenges and goals. Just starting out working out in the gym my entire life and I dont feel pressured and he modifies his workouts for me. I feel his support. Chris is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to your needs. He always provides the best workouts. His workouts are the right level of challenging, thoughtfully planned, and intelligently guided. I just moved here from Wisconsin a few months back and was looking for a personal trainer to continue my fitness goals. I was working with a personal trainer back home so I wanted to keep up the accountability and creative workouts that I get with a trainer. When I found chris, he was exactly what I wanted from a personal trainer. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?all sessions are by schedule only I have 3 packages 30 minute session package 45 minute session package 60 minute session packages clients can pick minimum of 2 sessions a week to a max of 6 sessions a week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?With new customers, It starts with a conversation. I want to learn about their lifestyle and their goals. I want to learn if there are any health concerns that we should be aware of before we work together to create their fitness plans I discuss their health, fitness, and professional background to better understand who they are as an individual. From there, we talk about what their mission is, how that mission has led them to myself, and how I can help them achieve their goals. I then take them through one of my fitness assessment tests that measures body fat percentage, musculoskeletal index, heart rate, fitness performance, and more. When everything is complete I use their profile to create their individualized fitness programs, meal plans, and exercise "homework" so we can start actively moving towards their goals together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have several degrees from the University of Utah in the field of sports exercise science. I have a degree in health exercise science, sports exercise science, a masters degree in Kinesiology, and currently attending the U to get My PHD in Exercise physiology. I hold 3 of the top national certifications in the field of perosnal training, NASM, ACSM, ACE and ISSA I do 400 hours of continue education each year to keep my certifications current and to create better workouts and results for you. I place the highest level of emphasis on my education, certifications to create BETTER RESULTS!!!
