FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
These are all reviewed on my website. See photoslc dot com.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will walk through the property with the client, and find out what points are especially important to them to show or emphasize. I will usually shoot exteriors first, and then got through the rooms one by one. I use a light stand or two, as well as tripods, so it does take a little time to get through the whole house. If twilight pictures are also ordered, I will then camp out in front of the house, shooting as the sun sets. I shoot RAW, which is not the same as JPG. It gives me far greater latitude in developing the images- I can stretch the highlights or reach deep into the shadows. That's something that just cannot be done with JPG images, but it also takes time. I usually need 24-48 hours to furnish finished images. I deliver via e-mail in zip files usually. I am happy to make other delivery options availbale.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a professional news photographer for over ten years. That means I can step into any situation and assess my needs and lighting concerns in seconds. It means I am used to working in new environments every day, and turning around a quality professional production.I have won numerous state, national and international awards, so my peers recognize my abilities.
