- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work together to decide on the scope of the assignment, what the purpose of the assignment is and which type of report would be best. We can meet you onsite for a quick inspection and get the report back to you quickly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, and am a Certified General Appraiser in the States of Utah, Idaho, and California. All of our appraisers have Bachelors degrees and are Certified General Appraisers (which is the highest license type and can appraise all types of properties). I am also a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We have over 50 years of experience in appraising. We were founded by Jonathan L Cook, MAI who was President of the Utah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. I worked along side my father for 15 years and now lead The Cook Group.
