Let me just say this...If your reading this review, stop waisting your time and just flat out hire Freestone, dont waste your time with other contractors. These guys are on a whole different level in terms of knowledge and quality.... Just hire them...Trust me.
MItch and his team just saved the day on our bathroom remodel. Let me just say these guys are next level. We hired another contractor to do the job and we really regret that decision. Freestone came in and fixed all thier poor work and did such an amazing job i cant reccomend them enough. They really know thier products well, he fixed things that no one else would have even taken the time to do the right way. And as they said over and over again, there is only one way to do things "the right way". Our bathroom is beautifull. Everyone that sees it is blown away at how crisp and clean all the tile looks. Thanks again Freestone.

Quality! Quality! Quality!
We had a fireplace project that hadn’t gone well with a previous contractor. We were in search of a tile installer with a focus on quality.
When Mitch of Freestone Interior Solutions came to provide a quote, he asked several questions to gain a thorough understanding of our project, made recommendations, and carefully responded to our questions/concerns. He knew what he was talking about, and was very “can do”! Ultimately, we chose Mitch because of the "quality reviews" from other clients, the "quote experience", AND because he was also able to install the mantel and fireplace, saving us time and money by using one contractor.
Additionally, he was great at "project problem solving" and helped us modify an “emergency access door” on the side of the fireplace; correcting the work of the previous contractor.
As far as constructive feedback, which we shared with Mitch and he was receptive to…
As a business owner, overseeing and performing the work, as well as, several other responsibilities, Mitch was busy juggling all that was on his “plate”. There were times when communication was delayed and the schedule was adjusted, but in the end, the quality of the finished product is what we were after, and Mitch did an amazing job! The final product was beautiful and the quality “top notch”!
5 star rating for quality/skillset, which is what was most important to us.
3.5 Stars for Communication/Scheduling. Again, feedback Mitch was receptive to.

Worst experience I've had with a contractor. Took more than 3x the time to compete than quoted, debris left everywhere and we had to hire additional contractors to compete work and fix issues.
Details: Full remodel of bathroom • Update style • Replace fixtures • Master bath • Home
Freestone Interior Solutions's reply
Bambi, I’m very sorry to hear you feel this way, and I sincerely apologize that the project took longer than originally anticipated.
Residential remodeling, particularly in older homes, can unfortunately uncover conditions that neither the homeowner nor contractor can see until walls are opened. In your case, once we opened the bathroom walls, we discovered that the existing plumbing was undersized and needed substantially more work than we could have known when the original schedule was provided.
At that point, I wasn’t comfortable simply covering everything back up and leaving you with inadequate plumbing and an underperforming shower just to stay on the original timeline. We worked to find solutions that would correct those issues properly while also trying to keep the additional cost to you as reasonable as possible.
Had those conditions been visible before we started, they absolutely would have been accounted for in the original scope and schedule. Unfortunately, we can’t see through walls, and unforeseen conditions are sometimes part of remodeling an existing home.
I completely understand that the additional time was frustrating, and I take responsibility for the fact that the original timeline wasn’t met. At the same time, I will always choose to address a significant hidden issue correctly rather than rush through it simply to meet a date and potentially leave a homeowner with bigger problems down the road.
I’m grateful that you trusted us with your home, and I’m proud of the bathroom we ultimately delivered. I sincerely wish your experience surrounding the timeline had been better, and I apologize that the unforeseen additional work prevented us from completing the project within the timeframe originally anticipated.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m competitive with all the contractors in Utah we may be on the mid to high side but you get what you pay for. I have ripped out and replaced several companies work because the customer got what they paid for and wanted the job redone correctly. This cost way more than just going with a reputable tile company in the first place!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Finding out what style of install they are looking for and what their design preferences are. For basic repairs and tile. We can provide free estimates, then put them on the schedule if they like the price.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
