At first, I was upset, we made an appointment with a salesperson, and no one showed up. I contacted Tyler, and he sent a crew out, and they started working to get our tree removed. When Tyler showed up, they were able to take down our 50-foot pine tree. The tree was in a bad location next to our house, and they removed the tree with no issues or harm to our house. They stayed working late to complete the job. Their prices are the best in the valley, I received 6 different bids, and their bid beat everyone by $300. I would use Tyler and his crew again. They really take pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

I am updating my review of the work done by Prestige to acknowledge their work was done quickly and cleanly and they did not go over their original estimate. However, Prestige failed to communicate with me as the homeowner in advance of performing any work and they did not wait for me to actually hire them before they cut down two trees on my property (one intended and one by mistake). The week prior, I received a free estimate to remove one small pine tree in my back yard from Prestige. the representative gave me a copy of the estimate and pointed out a phone number and asked me to respond on or before Wednesday, May 10th, whether or not I wanted Prestige to schedule the job. While I was at work on Tuesday, May 9th, my sister called me frantic because a crew from Prestige had showed up unannounced and by the time she saw them, they had cut down the wrong tree (a small eastern redbud) in my front yard that appeared dead. My sister tried to speak to the crew, but no one on site could speak English. She called me in a panic because she had no idea why they were even there at the house (didn't knock or ring the bell before starting) She knew we had not hired anyone to perform the work yet as we were still waiting on the last estimate. I called the phone number on the bill my sister had been provided and spoke with a manager, whom said they had removed a dead redbud tree in my front yard before my sister told them they had cut down the wrong tree, but that they would not charge me for the removal of the wrong tree. They had already proceeded to remove the intended pine tree in the back yard and the manager explained that getting two trees removed for the price of one made up for removing the wrong tree in the front yard. I tried to explain that in addition to the wrong tree being removed, I had not hired Prestige to do the job and was still getting one more estimate for the work. I was supposed to have another day to respond to Prestige, but I definitely had not hired them. They explained they had a work order, so they did the work. I remain unsatisfied with this justification.
Again, to be fair, the work done by Prestige was quickly and cleanly. They did not damage the fence near either tree and they removed the stump of the tree they removed by mistake. They did not charge me anything above the estimate for the one pine tree intended to be removed and they were evenly priced with other bid that I had time to receive, but I will never know if the last estimate I had scheduled would have been better because the crew from Prestige did the work without being hired. They failed to announce themselves when they arrived before beginning the work. They failed to confirm with the homeowner which tree was to be cut down in advance (which would have prevented this whole mess). No one on site was able to communicate in English when my sister tried to stop the crew and point out the mistake on their part. Overall, although I appreciate them not charging me for the tree they cut down by mistake, but I remain frustrated that they did the work without actually being hired to begin with.
