During the recent destructive windstorm in Salt Lake City, an enormous ash tree in our backyard uprooted and fell on our roof. I turned to Home Advisor and Gregg Nelson at Rent-a-Monkey responded quickly and viewed the catastrophe the next day. Because of the position of the tree on the house he felt removal by crane would be safest and within a few days he met with me and an agent of a company with heavy equipment, who put me on that companys schedule. Within two weeks the tree was removed and hauled away. Though his company was not responsible for the removal, Gregg has been extremely helpful in seeing the project through, and made every effort to keep the removal and restoration of the yard as economical as he could. He kept in contact with the crane arrangements for final removal from the curb. After that he made arrangements with a stump grinder to pulverize the stump, roots, and uplifted turf. Gregg answered my many phone calls in a timely manner. I recommend this extraordinary business highly.

We had a Box Elder pruned and trimmed. And an Ailanthus taken down to a stump and poisoned. Both trees were in complicated locations and were handled securely and safely. Greg gave us a bid, showed up on time and saw the work done properly. It was expensive but well worth the cost. We will hire them again.
