About
Appassionata Piano & Cello Studio (Sandy,UTAH) transforms traditionally taught piano and cello lessons into extraordinary lessons by teaching creativity, curiosity, and competency. By offering a variety of music adventures to meet individual interests and goals, students become self-motivated to practice, progress faster, and achieve more! Whether through individual lessons or groups, students are learning in an engaging and encouraging atmosphere.
Realizing each student is unique with various musical abilities and learning styles, my passion is to help a student discover his individual creative spark at the piano or cello. I want to enable students to achieve their goals. This is accomplished through exploring and developing those skills needed to become a confident and excellent musician.
I love teaching piano and cello! It is very rewarding to see each student progress from week to week and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the gift of music! My greatest joy is to help encourage my students to discover what they love about playing their instrument.

Though we just started lessons with Laura, we can already tell she will be a great piano teacher for my 13 year old son. He was so excited after leaving the lesson that he wanted to start practicing right away. Laura has a way of understanding each child's needs and making it a fun and enjoyable experience. We can't wait to see what our son can do after a couple of months!

Laura is a wonder teacher. She goes at your speed and works from your level up. She is friendly, but great at keeping the lesson on track. She has so much experience and is really great and pointing out the tips that will help you the most at your skill level. I have had only 4 lessons so far, but even I can see improvement in my piano skills. Thanks so much, Laura, for your dedication and help.
