Read reviews that mention:
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Piano/cello lessons are more than just a student's reserved lesson time each week! It includes your teacher's education, experience, and ongoing professional development which directly impacts success. Each student receives an individualized teaching plan with yearly goals, use of music library, recitals, incentives, piano parties , masterclass, summer camps etc. Lessons for school aged students are invoiced in equal monthly tuition payments and pricing depends on what type of lessons are taken. See website studio policy/ tuition for more details. Adult students purchase a 4 lesson package and use the lessons in their time frame.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have prospective students view my website and schedule a complimentary "meet and greet" lesson. This gives all of us an opportunity to learn some about each other and see if the studio is a good fit before making a commitment to lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy from Utah State University. 20+ years experience teaching beginners to performance majors in college. Classically trained cellist. Currently principal cellist of the Utah Philharmonic Orchestra Classically trained pianist along with playing on a worship team, composing, accompanying, and teaching in a classroom. Homeschool mom of 4 children
