FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with any client I discuss their needs and try to find the best possible solution to what they are looking for. We talk about locations, dates, times, style, and whatever else they may be looking for. If this is for a wedding I also do a pre consultation with the couple and go over my wedding contract. After the shoot I send a link to their online gallery where they can download all of their images, and from there they can order prints if desired. I personally handle the prints and deliver them to their door.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to UVU and studded Graphic Design while taking photography classes along the way. After college I attended the Fotofly Academy for photography. I worked for them and started training other photographers, opened a new studio for them, and led new devisions to set the standard for their company. I also am currently employed at a photography store where I handle prints, sell gear, and teach anything photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background in graphic design led to a career in photography. A lot of the same concepts carry over in designing a composition, but now I'm adding people to my work! I love working with people so much more than working with a computer. I made the transition into photography, and love it with the passion.
