About this pro
I have been editing book manuscripts, writing and editing magazine articles, and providing editorial help for a variety of professional and personal projects for more than 20 years. I work as a full-time magazine editor in Salt Lake City, but I take on freelance projects as time allows. In addition, I have taught writing and editing classes at two universities and one community college. Whether working for my current employer or doing a freelance project for an individual, I take pride in my work and satisfaction in leaving my client happy. If I take on a project, I make sure my client is completely satisfied.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I usually charge $40 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with a client in person if possible or at least chat over the phone. I want to understand exactly what the client expects from me before I begin a project. With large projects, I usually request partial payment upfront and final payment after I deliver the project to my client's satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold bachelor's degrees in journalism and Spanish and a master's degree in mass communications.
