At Core Canine, we specialize in positive reinforcement training as provided by our Certified Dog Trainer, April, whose commitment is to bring you and your dog together in a positive way. Core Canine’s goal is to teach owners how to work with their dogs on a daily basis to ensure training is a success. Core Canine works with all dogs, regardless of breed or size, and helps families - both small and large. If you have kids, we’d love to have them be a part of the training process. Bringing dogs closer to their families is what makes us happy. We offer private in-home classes in the following Northern Virginia locations: Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Burke, Falls Church, Ft. Belvoir, Lorton, Springfield. Exceptions can be made for other cities in Northern Virginia and D.C. Group training classes are being held at Hairy Situations Dog Grooming located at 1561 Potomac Greens Drive in Alexandria. Because I'm relatively new to Thumbtack, I don't have many reviews. However, I have over 20 five star reviews on Yelp. I enjoy watching owners be able to work with their dogs in ways they previously thought were impossible. It's an amazing feeling when an owner emails or calls me and says their dog is behaving and listening because of the training we've done. When things just click between owners and their dogs, I know I've done my job.
