Wow what a gem I found in Thumbtack. Fres Construction’s Eric is one great man. He responded immediately and came within the same day, when the heat was 100 degree and my HVAC failed me. It took Eric a very short time to diagnose and fixed the problem. He is very honest, professional and doesn’t give you the run around mumbo jumbo like other tech. He really saved my day and I could not recommend Eric enough for his reasonable fees and quick fix. I definitely will contact Eric again when I need some other construction works done. Thank you Eric, and thank you thumbtack!

Called for a deck repair estimate and got laughter and immature behavior while explaining the project. Completely unprofessional. If this is how they handle customers before the job starts, I can only imagine what happens after payment. Homeowners should be careful — professionalism, communication, and respect are the bare minimum when hiring a contractor to work on your property and safety-related structures like decks. RUN!!

After I explained that I do not provide services on Sundays, you ended the call. When I called back to clarify, you threatened to leave a one-star review unless I agreed to come out this Sunday. Despite my offer to schedule your project for next week, you responded with belittling language and personal insults.
