I recently had my first experience with a moving company, and I couldn't be happier! I found myself in a bit of a bind when I needed movers on short notice, so I requested a quote on August 26th for a moving date of August 29th. Mike was incredibly helpful over the phone, guiding me through the process and easing my concerns.On the day of the move, Alex and his teammate arrived on time and ready to go. They were fantasticsuper quick and efficient! It was a painless experience from start to finish. I was particularly impressed with how they handled my collection (read: I have a lot of stuff) of vintage and antique furniture, taking the utmost care to ensure everything was protected.The move from my large one-bedroom apartment (which was filled to the brim) on the second floor to a nearby storage unit was completed in just four hours. I highly recommend WellKnown Moving for anyone in need of reliable and professional movers. Thank you for making my first moving experience a great one!

Alex and team were fantastic. They arrived on time. They disassembled, moved, and reassembled all of our furniture efficiently. They handled everything with care even delicate items like a very heavy glass table that needed to make it through small doorways. Would definitely recommend!

Theyre very kind. They came on time and called in advance to let me know when they would arrive. They provided tape and any other packing things I may have forgotten. They disassembled and wrapped up all the furniture. No scratches and all my fragiles are in perfect condition. They somehow got my massive dresser up the stairs! They moved quickly. My whole apartment was moved in a few hours. Definitely recommend if youre moving in the DC area.

These guys are real deal! The movers were very punctual, right on time. They called before showing up, and kept me i formed through out the whole process. They were fast and efficient, and were very careful so the our furniture. I highly recommend them if youre moving in DC or are looking for movers in DC. Very affordable, with competitive prices. Dont be fooled by fancy websites and high prices, thats all just marketing. These guys were affordable, quick, careful and on time. Thats everything Ive ever needed from a moving company!
