- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're looking to hire a professional organizer, a few things to consider are: 1. Its easier to work within the space you already have than to add space solutions (shelves, cabinets, etc) 2. The better you are at letting go of old items, the faster we can get you back to harmony 3. Whatever the state of your home/office, chances are, we've seen worse, so don't be embarrassed!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that customers knew that professional organizers don't have magic space wands that we can wave inside of their homes in order to create space and storage solutions. We don't. Absolutely NOT! It takes strategic thinking, planning, arranging, rearranging, and most importantly, PURGING to get to that magical place where the floor, shelves, and counters are clutter-free.
