I offer the same services that I would offer my family. There is no up selling. My focus is the basic issue and more importantly why did this happen. Getting to the root of why the issue happened in the beginning. I really enjoy the fact that , I solve real problems. I come into a home with a drain backing up or water dripping from places that it shouldn't and I solve real issues. I take pride in that and the quality of my work as well.

Jon was a pleasure to work with. Had a drainage issue in my basement that caused water damage. Jon was the first to respond to my query for assistance and came out and did a full assessment. He realized the problem was not what was originally diagnosed to be and took the time to make sure that he didn't rush to repair the initial issue, but checked other areas to ensure the problem didn't come back. Walked through his thought process, showed me what future problems to look for could be and the quality of work was excellent. Price for project was very reasonable. He was extremely friendly and professional and I will ensure I refer him to all my neighbors that need his expertise. He has a client for life in us. New clients will not be disappointed in this excellent service.

If Drew’s Service Solutions and Jon Drew respond to your Thumbtack job, you are fortunate. Don’t overthink it; just do it. I’m an overthinker and had 5 companies come out to give estimates. Drew was the first one and I should have committed then. Three weeks ago, I’d never heard of Jon Drew. Today and after a week of nothing short of heroism in my old, concreted, plastered home in which he did, among other things, a whole-house repipe from galvanized to copper, I’m recommending him to all my friends. Why? Ok, this will take a while. 1. His work is careful, thoughtful and beautiful. The waterlines now run where they need to in the most efficient way possible. He understands the end user’s needs. Although not in our statement of work, he replaced my basement utility sink with something much more useful and attractive, while adding beautiful copper waterlines with their own cut-off valves. He also ran much more efficient and beautiful clothes washer waterlines and gave me a bonus laundry waterline box, also with cut-off valves. Check out the photos. 2. He keeps his word and doesn’t leave you wondering. With my plumbing job, he did exactly what he told me he would do, down to the time he said he would be there in the morning. He let me know in advance about any changes. 3. He’s an educator. He’s the expert and I’m not; I just knew I had some plumbing problems and trusted him to fix them. Not only did he fix them, he first took the time to explain to me what the issues were so I could make an informed decision what to do about them.

I price flat rate. I base my prices based on material costs / estimated time to complete job / consumable items used .
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The introduction and then I ask questions pertaining to the symptoms leading me to a root cause of their issues. Then I give options for the basic repair to fixing the root issue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone to apprenticeship school in fairfax Va. I have various certifications. I continuously enroll in trade seminars. Over 10 years with the "big companies" in the area, and another 8 years with a couple smaller firms. Currently pursuing my master gas and master plumbing license with the intent to have soon.
