Becca was the greatest decision we could have made for our wedding. Both my husband and I are NOT dancers, and we were extremely nervous about our first dance. We didn’t want to look like baby deer, and that’s certainly what we would have looked like without Becca’s help.
Becca was incredibly patient with us as we learned very basic steps, and she helped ease us into more challenging moves with repetition and positive reinforcement. She made us feel comfortable with what we were learning and comfortable just dancing together. By the end of our lessons with Becca, we were sad that they wouldn’t continue! We learned so much from her and had such a good time doing it. She made us more confident in ourselves and each other, and certainly our dance skills!
We are so thankful that we decided to have Becca help us with our first dance. It ended up being our favorite part of the evening (quite a 180 from the dread and anxiety it had caused us before). Becca is flexible and willing to choreograph a complex dance with lots of challenging moves, but is also willing to just put together the basics if you want something simple but don’t know where to start. She can do it all and will work with you to determine what you’re most comfortable with.
Everyone should enjoy their first dance, and you certainly will if you hire Take the Floor! Highly recommend!

Becca was absolutely amazing! We called her in a panic a few weeks before our wedding with zero dance experience, and she worked with us in just two sessions to come up with a dance that fit us perfectly. Our guests loved it and we got tons of compliments! We also learned so much through her lessons. Becca was fun and so helpful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. THANK YOU!!!

Becca is THE BEST! I was so nervous about our first dance since I had a big vision and wanted it to be perfect. She came to our house, helped us figure out where to begin, and choreographed the most fun first dance- even better than I imagined! Our guests still talk about it. Can't recommend her services enough!!

You can't find a better choreographer and instructor than Becca! She takes the time to truly understand the needs of her clients, their ability levels, any kind of limitations, and helps you visualize a plan for success.
