Membership in the Piano Playground includes a weekly 30-minute session, seasonal performance opportunities, pop-up social events, and lots of bonuses through the year for just $100 a month Membership in the Key Club includes a dynamic weekly 60–minute session where we warm up with Alexander Technique inspired movement, work on our individual repertoire at our own pace and conclude each session with an opportunity to listen and respond to live performances, frequent matinee salons, and curated outings throughout the year for just $200 per month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new student joins Piano Playground or Key Club, we begin with a free trial session to get to know them—their experience, goals, and musical interests. From there, I create a personalized lesson plan tailored to their pace and strengths, so every session is meaningful and engaging. During semi-private classes, I’m present in every session, providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement while fostering connection and collaboration among participants. Over time, students build real piano skills, grow confidence, and become part of a supportive musical community where friendships and curiosity flourish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a professionally trained pianist with a deep background in classical music performance and pedagogy, helping students of all ages build real piano skills with confidence and joy. I hold a Trauma-Informed Mindfulness Certification from Veterans Yoga Project, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Marianne Wells Yoga, and an Alexander Technique Certificate from the University of Michigan, which I integrate into mindful, body-aware teaching. In addition to teaching, I have extensive regional theater experience, including frequent performances at George Mason’s Tiny Stage, a Best Musical Bright Lights and Promises award, and a Best Actress nomination. My combined performance and teaching experience allows me to guide students with both technical mastery and expressive artistry.
