My experience with Howling Wolff was better than I could have expected. I have never been in a recording studio environment before, so I didn't know what to expect. However, Adam, the engineer, made me feel very comfortable and guided me through the session like the real pro that he is. I am a singer/songwriter so it's just my voice and guitar on the tracks. The first time I heard the recording it sounded like another version of me was in the room playing and singing my songs. That's how crystal clear the sound was! I'm now working on my next song to bring in to record at Howling Wolff. The price was good, the service was spectacular, the space was comfortable and professional and the result was outstanding! I'd highly recommend Howling Wolff Studio to anyone looking for the best for less!
I had a great time recording with Nicolas at sweet spot studio He gives good feedback and has a good ear for music the Atmosphere was very comfortable and he also has reasonable Prices I would recommend sweet spot studio to anyone who looking for a new place to record music!
I was extremely pleased with the services Mr. Blake rendered for my voice over training. He brought his Mobile studio to my location and he setup my home studio equipment for me. He worked with my recording software and trained me on how to use it. He evaluated my voice and made recommendations on which genre of voice over I should concentrate my talents. I'm up and running now and practicing. I definitely will be calling him again to do my demo when I am ready. He is very professional, courteous and trustworthy. Five star service!
Jude is super professional and his set-up is very musician friendly. I'd surely recommend him to recording artists of any genre.
My vocal quartet had always wanted to do a Christmas album for our fans, but we'd never done a formal recording. We were so lucky to find Ashton Street and Morgan Henry. Morgan has had a lifetime of music and recording experience that made our time in the studio efficient and enjoyable. We got through fifteen songs in only 3-4 sessions. His ear is sensitive and his production was creative, especially given the limited possibilities with recordings of four voices and nothing more. He turned new versions around quickly and was extremely pleasant in going through our detailed feedback. Essentially, he was our mentor as we went through the album process for the first time. The price was extremely reasonable. Overall I was very satisfied and will use Ashton Street again for future projects. I recommend Ashton Street wholeheartedly!
I recently visited the studio with my group to work on three songs and I must say, I was impressed! The level of engagement, friendliness, and organization was top notch. Also, the environment was a friendly one, clean and well kept. Id highly recommend this studio to anyone who's serious about music! These guys know what their doing!
Terrific excellent bro we feeling the vibe
Photo booth for a boys and girls club homecoming. The kids had a wonderful time. There could have been another person to help control the crowd. There should be a picture for each person in the photo.
We couldn't be happier with our selection. Our business event was a success in large part due to the professionalism, flexibility, and insight brought to us by Diversity Studios. I highly recommend this service provider and look forward to working with them in the future.
Expectations are always exceeded. I've recorded high quality acoustic and electric (band) songs there and the professionalism of the sound engineer and the caliber of equipment - and ultimately the resulting product - is always superior to other studios where I've recorded before.
I have taken over a years worth of guitar lessons from American Music Studio and will continue taking lessons into the future. Brett in co. cater lessons to your skill level and learning style, encouraging you to push the limits and learn more. The instructors are approachable, motivational, personable and experts in their craft. I cannot express how educational and enlightening my experience with American Music Studio has been.

The Powder Mill is located in Southeast Washington, DC. It is the home base of [Producer/Engineer/Mixer] Justin Long. Situated on Capitol Hill, it's within close walking distance of dozens of restaurants, markets, two grocery stores, a coffee shop, and a liquor store. Recently, projects recorded at the Powder Mill have been featured in promotional campaigns for American Eagle and Gant Rugger and can be heard on TV shows such as "One Tree Hill" and "Real World". The studio is designed to encourage creative recording techniques beyond the capabilities of the typical home studio without any of the needless "sheen" of commercial studios that always ends up stifling creativity. It has been set up to accommodate full-band live tracking and, aside from the two isolation rooms (one dead and one reflective) and a vocal booth, there is a comfortable, vibey control room and a spacious [25' ceiling] live room. All of which have windows that allow a direct line-of-sight to each other. It is equally well-suited to track a full band or orchestral ensemble, layer instrumental overdubs, or just record simple voice-overs. We love the technological advances that have allowed quality DIY recording to have become a reality but have recognized there are some things that are hard to record well in your bedroom. Bring in your project to track your drums or instruments that are troublesome to record at home because of space/noise requirements or just to have access to higher quality equipment as you capture your lead vocals or other key elements of your project.
