If we are lucky, we stumble across a Website like Thumbtack and find Emily Chen a photographer who captures your event in a way that you could not have even imagined and leaves you with beautiful memories to last a lifetime! From the first connection with Emily, she strived to understand the engagement and my goals/desires for the night. Her communication skills were exceptional and detailed throughout the pre planning, actual event night and post deliverables. Her overall professionalism and beautiful photographs exceeded my expectations.

Erin knows what she is doing and worked with our family group to make sure we got flattering photos. It was cold outside, but she was a real trooper. She also wanted to know what we wanted, and did some photos that we asked for, too.

Emily was amazing! I had decided at the week before that I would like to have photo memories of our elopement and it was the best decision ever. Not only was Emily super professional and provided me with a great questionnaire but she was also really understanding of how we wanted our special day to be captured. Emily's communication throughout the entire process and elopement day was superb. My husband and I were totally in shock with the sneak peek photos and feel like they're even better than we could have ever imagined! Definitely hire Emily for any special occasion of yours 💚

From the initial planning and communication for our engagement shoot to providing sneak peeks and picture proofs almost immediately, Emily was fantastic every step of the way. When our original location fell through due to weather and travel issues, she was incredibly flexible, helping us rebook at a completely different spot without any hassle. Her professionalism and skill behind the camera are truly impressive, and her creative ideas made our shoot unforgettable. We had a wonderful time with our engagement shoot with Emily! She is great at directing poses - my fiance was nervous, never had pictures taken before and he was sure he would look "awkward." He warmed up immediately and Emily made him feel comfortable and confident! Emily is also very responsive by messages/email and had a sneak preview ready very quickly. She has multiple package options. The photos are beautiful and I would recommend her to everybody.
