Kevin's Math and English Tutoring

Introduction: My name is Kevin Slaven, and I am studying for a master's in secondary education. I have years of experience as a tutor: first as a volunteer and then as a private tutor. I can tutor up to the 10th grade level in Math and up to the undergraduate college level in English. My schedule is flexible, and I am more than willing to drive to your location. It's natural for some people to struggle with the concepts in math or in language. If you or your child is one of those people, I am happy to sit down with you or him/her, get to the root of the problem, and put in the work needed to attain better understanding and ultimately better performance for my student. Overcoming gaps in learning can be difficult, and often, the time spent in the classroom is not enough. Experience has shown me that one-on-one time, focused on a single subject, can be the key to breaking down barriers in understanding.
