- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dog couldn't stay home alone very well so she had to go to daycare and I always knew I did not want an office job. I needed an active job helping people or animals. I started walking dogs as a part time job and then got an idea to do it fulltime so I could spend more time with my dog and make my own schedule. I had always had animal jobs in the past so it was just natural.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Pet sitting while they are out of town, daily dog walks while they work all day and obedience training.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your pet is comfortable with the person and when you talk with the provider you will get a good feeling if it's the right fit for you or not.
