I am a freelance makeup and special occasion hair artist based in Chesapeake, Va area but travel all over. I am originally from Alabama and have been doing makeup since high school. I had a beautiful baby girl in March of 2023. I have a Husband who i have been with for almost a decade. I decided to become certified in 2018 at The Academy of Makeup in Maryland. I am trained in not only glam makeup but airbrush and wedding. This is not a hobby it is a PASSION! If my client is happy with the end results, it empowers me. Hired to do make up and hair for some of my bridesmaids as well as make up for myself for my wedding. Everyone looked beautiful! She even brought in doughnuts the morning of and made everyone feel comfortable. Thanks so much again, I would refer her to others and definitely hire again for my make up needs!

Face So Pure was great in the pre-set up phase. Asked tons of questions, knew exactly what I was looking for. Day of she set everything up, made sure I was ready on time. My makeup was exactly what I wanted based on a photo I sent her. We did not do any before work, and she had not seen my face in person until we met for the event. And she hit it out of the park. Very friendly and personal able, and mostly clean. You could tell she takes care of her equipment.

I absolutely love Whitney and the job she did! I wish I lived closer so she could be my permanent makeup artist 😍. I wishI could give her 10 stars.
