FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend annual health and fitness conferences to continue my education, maintain certification currency, and to become aware of further developments in the personal training profession. As a figure competitor and a personal trainer, it is in my best interest and also my clients' to stay on top of the latest health and fitness developments.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a passion for helping people and discovered I also had a passion for health and fitness. What better way to combine the two than as a personal trainer? I strongly believe that helping people to become healthier is God's plan for me and I have faithfully followed Him in the direction He has decided to lead me. When I first started personal training I worked with several different clients at a local gym. A couple years later, I decided that opening my own business was the best way to fully apply my talents and abilities as a trainer.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Many of my clients are working mothers and working professionals. They don't have hours upon hours to train or carefully plan out the minute details of a complex nutrition program. They need a trainer who understands how hectic life is and who can help them feel better and look better through practical, easy to understand instruction in both fitness and nutrition.
