Introduction

We teach our students to make manageable goals for each lesson so that they can feel a sense of achievement throughout the entire learning process. The smaller goals keep the students motivated constantly enabling them to become a better musician. By focusing on the process of learning, students are learning a set of skills that will enable them to learn pieces quicker and allow for a more rewarding end product. They also are able to apply these learning skills to many different areas of study, which enhances their personal growth. Through SK piano academy, we hope to create an enjoyable learning experience and share what we love most with everyone. I find that the most rewarding aspect of being a teacher is watching a student develop a stronger passion for music than they had to begin with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our fees are: 30 minute lesson - $25.00 60 minute lesson - $45.00 There are two payment options available: Quarterly (3 months) or monthly. A 10% discount will be applied to Quarterly payments.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Private lessons are individually tailored lessons to the student's purpose of learning the piano. Music Theory classes are geared towards the AP Music Theory Exam. Our piano accompanying services play for recitals, competitions, recordings, auditions, churches, weddings, and any other event imaginable. Our passion in music lies in both teaching AND performing.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had the opportunity to work as an Associate Instructor of Piano at Indiana University where I taught group piano lessons and private lessons to college music majors, non-music majors, and precollege students.
