Jim and his team of tutors are excellent to work with. Jim found just the right Math tutor for me to pass my college math classes. Having been out of school for many years, I was more than just a little nervous about being back in the classroom. The one-on-one tutoring that was convenient to my schedule was perfect. Thanks Jim and the whole A++Team.

My daughter has been working with VB Writing Tutoring for almost two months now. She understands the teenage brain and works to keep them on task. I would recommend using her in the future.

So many positive things to say about Bespoke and specifically Meghan Manning. My son has been meeting with her weekly for over a year now. He needed a lot of extra help with reading and we were not sure what else to try at home. She has helped him tremendously with his reading and he looks forward to going every week (which means so much as a parent). She is organized, always has a positive attitude, and takes detailed notes on what they worked on and what we should work on at home.

MaryAnna has worked with my son for 4 years. She had to practically start from square one with his letters and their sounds. He is now in 6th grade, reading at or above grade level and writing well thought out papers constructed correctly. She has the patience of a saint, and has customized each lesson for his needs. She has taught him the skills he will use to succeed at his college prep school.

Katherine truly loves helping children grow and seems to enjoy the challenge of finding just the right way to reach each individual. We saw marked improvement in our child’s reading and she helped guide us in ways to incorporate practice in daily life. She blends fun and learning quite creatively and adjust her style well, as needed. She was a tremendous help when we felt so completely helpless.

Ms. Wright is professional, caring and an outstanding tutor. By identifying and catering a specific lesson plan. To benefit your childs needs. Since retaining her services. I have noticed my child's confidence increase. Along with his reading and writing abilities. I would definetly recommend Isen Wright Academy for any and all academic needs.

Barbara has been tutoring my daughter for reading for a little over one year now. When my daughter started with Barbara, she was reading below grade level and I am proud to say that she is now reading at grade level. Barbara is very flexible with schedules and truly has a desire to help children grow. My daughter loves her!

I am the mother of a dyslexic child and I understand first hand the frustration a parent (and child) feel when watching their child struggle to read, spell or comprehend what seems to come natural to many other students. Not only do I teach students how to read and spell but I also encourage them to want to learn and not feel that they are inferior or "dumb" as many dyslexic students are made to feel. Learning is serious but it can and it has to also be fun and engaging. Often times dyslexic students are so misunderstood in school and are thought to be lazy or irresponsible so they don't often get the academic recognition and awards as many of their peers may get. I believe in rewarding my students for their hard work, good character and determination. I started tutoring over 20 years ago in various elementary subjects. However, after watching my own child struggle for years and wanting so desperately to help him succeed, I became a Certified Dyslexia Tutor so now my main focus in tutoring students in Reading Comprehension, Spelling and Dyslexia Tutoring. I help parents and guardians understand their child's needs and offer support when it comes to having a voice in their child's 504 Plan, IE Plan or special services.

I am an avid scholar hoping to help people with their educational and professional needs. I have tutoring experience as well as teaching assistant experience and writing coaching at the college level. I am also an award-winning writer and researcher.

I am a certified teacher. I have been teaching for a little over 10 years. I work with the special education and general education population. My main focus is to teach strategies to use in reading and math. My strategies cater to students according to their learning styles. Everyone is unique and learns in their own special way. I provide tutoring services for elementary students K-5 who are struggling in reading and math or for students who just need a little enrichment in their studies to keep them ahead of the game.

I am a seasoned special educator currently teaching in Hampton Public Schools with 18 combined years of teaching in Virginia and North Carolina. I have taught both general and special-needs students from kindergarten to grade 12. My experiences include teaching various content areas in the general population as a collaborative teacher and specialist for students with behavior concerns and those with specific learning disabilities. I provide Reading and Math strategies for students who need specialized help with math, reading, and writing. I design individualized strategies that will help students solidify academics and demonstrate what they learn. I enjoy teaching and seeing students enjoy learning with my instructional assistance.

I am a retired teacher. I offer organizing, tutoring, writing letters, running errands, etc. No job is too difficult or too small!

I am a result oriented person, working hard to produce positive outcomes is my main objective in any thing that I do.
