Robert of Ground Control Services did a superb job grinding down a stump in my back yard. His stump grinder ground the stump in very small pieces, making cleanup very easy. I highly recommend Ground Control Services if you need a stump removed.

Mr. Powers provided quality stump grinding and the clean up was solid. The areas where Mr. Powers was lacking was communication skills. It was quite difficult to communicate via Thumbtack app via text through the cell phone number provided prior to and the day of the work. However, once payment was requested and desired both methods of communication were miraculously working fine and quite often. Another point of issue was his flexibility with payment. I work a full time job that takes me away from the area for at least 24 hours and sometime more. I informed Mr. Powers of this and stated he could pick up a check for payment at 9am when I returned home. Keep in mind this was just 2 days after work completion. His text reply was “Sorry but I have to get payment from you today”. I’m a small business owner in addition to my full time job and would NEVER demand immediate payment when a customer stated they would get it to me within 24 hours. Of course the following morning a check was left and swiftly picked up and cashed immediately. Of course, his cell phone and Thumbtack app communication vastly improved the morning of payment pick up. Mr. Powers would have gotten a 5 if he had better communication and flexibility with prompt payment.
