Tony was 1 of 3 people that contacted me through Thumbtack. He has a lot of positive feedback, so that was the main reason I sought to hire him. I messaged him a list of things I wanted done (electrical and putting up wall paneling in a bathroom) and he called me shortly after. We set up a time for him to come out and look at what I needed. After that initial phone call, I messaged him a couple questions, and he responded back promptly. He also had messaged me pics of his current and past projects that were similar to my preferences. He encouraged I checkout his website for past projects and read his reviews. As mentioned previously, he has a lot of happy clients. While I was still a bit skeptical, this pre-meeting communication told me Tony not only knows what he's doing, he is proud of his work as well. He came by as expected, and right away wanted to check if I had the necessary wall panels and trim. He checked out the bathroom and quickly assessed he can do the job. This entailed vinyl wainscot panels on the walls, replacing a towel bar, and replacing the bathroom fan for one that has a light. He suggested that the fan would not provide enough light but that he could install an additional light above my bathtub. I agreed. I asked if he could/would install a light in my coat closet (and yes he would). His quote seemed reasonable to me, so we scheduled it for 2 days later starting Fri. morning). He then called me the day before the job (Thurs. morning) to tell me he had a free window that same day starting at noon and if I was available, he would start then. I luckily managed to pull away from work and let him start the job. I did not expect him to finish by 5pm; I just figured whatever he didn’t finish he would complete the next day as we had scheduled. Nope! Tony confidently stated all the expected work would be finished by the end of the day. One of his crew members, named Edward, came by to assist. The first thing they took care of was a nice job on installing an LED flush mount light (pull cord turns it on/off) in the coat closet. Tony stepped out a couple times to check out other projects he was supervising in the area. The second time he stepped away he informed me that he had to go but that Edward would continue on and finish up. No problem; Edward was working hard away on the bathroom walls/lighting. Tony then messaged me later saying the other project was not ready and that he was on his way back over. While I did not expect it, I certainly appreciated his dedication. Fast forward four (4) hours later, and I was impressed with their work! They did a fantastic job, and it's like a whole new bathroom. They even managed to clean up well without any sloppiness. Edward had pointed out one corner that still needed to be painted, but that he would have to come back at another time as he had to go. One minor complaint: The towel bar was not put up and was still its box on the bathroom floor. When I asked about it, Edward told me that he was not aware of that specifically, and to check w/ Tony. Edward had to go anyway, but since he had just mentioned coming back to paint the corner, I was not too bothered. Tony had communicated later he would make sure that's taken care of. Things get overlooked and I can understand. It was still relieving to hear that it would be addressed. Despite that one (1) con, it was outweighed by the following pros: The rest of the work, the promptness, the cleanup, and the communication. He followed up the next day and asked if my family liked the work that was done (and yes very much so. I almost wish I could take credit for doing all the work!). He has already contacted me saying he would come Sat. morning to finish, but I wasn't home. So kudos for being available to follow through. He has recently messaged me some pics of other current projects and joked that it's from his marketing and sales department. But in reality they sell themselves. I've already decided I will definitely hire him again for my next small project.

I had several areas of wall that needed the drywall to be repaired. I sent pictures and John gave me what I felt was a fair quote. They were scheduled to come on Friday morning then called with an opening on Wednesday evening. John arrived with his drywall expert and immediately got to work. The job was a little more extensive than the pictures showed but they still were able to get the job completed Wednesday night. My walls look great and are ready for me to paint! I'm excited to be able to get this done before Christmas.

High quality renovation of our bathroom. Everything was done right. Numerous times we encountered challenges under the floor, behind the wall, or with the plumbing because of the 60-year-old home, but each time all the old elements were removed, replaced and improved.

I wanted my patio extended a couple feet to my fence. So i called a few people and decided to go with Julio concrete. He was very professional and straight forward on what needed to be done. I have two air conditioning units that the concrete had to go around. Also they had to pull up alot of weeds and grass. Then make a retaining wall. They started 8am in the morning and finished 5pm same day. They worked very hard while i was at work. When i came home everything was done. And i paid them after the work was done. I will definitely used these guys again.

I needed my clothes rod put back up in my closet where it had torn out of the wall. The work was top quality. It was done without unnecessary expense, parts or time. He got the time mixed up for the appointment, but the work was fast and perfect. I would use his services again.

Great job they done for me in repairing a door and patching a good size hold in the wall. On time to my house and a fair price for labor. What more could I ask for. JIMMY Williamsburg Va.

We hired Peter to replace an existing bathtub surround. The project included removal of the old tile and drywall, repair of underlying wall structure as well as the installation of a waterproofing membrane, cement board, new tile and grouting. Working with Peter was a great experience – he communicates clearly and concisely, delivers on his promises on time (he actually finished early) and on budget, and works cleanly and efficiently, while delivering a polished product – what more could you expect? We will definitely be hiring Peter again in the future.

Job was to cut/install a new door on an exterior wall, remove/board up an existing door on an exterior wall, and build a small staircase/landing for the new door. David was prompt, answered questions in a clear manner, and provided helpful advice. He completed the job in a timely fashion; I think he actually finished slightly ahead of the time frame he suggested. I am pleased with the work, and would consider him again for future projects.

After years of wanting my kitchen remolded, I've searched high and low for an affordable company with quality work. That is exactly what I got from this company. The team was professional and respectful, listening to my every concern/need. My countertops, wall paintings, and floor layout came out exactly how I imagined with little to no time at all. The crew left my house feeling more like a home. Will definitely hire/recommend this company should I need any work done. Thanks again!

Hello I'm actually not knowing where to start: 1rst of all this guy actually showed up not on time but 10 minutes early. ( that's something completely new I'm used to 1-2 hours late) He remodeled my bathroom walls, sink, toilet and for no additional cost fixed the bottom beam of the framing because of years of our toilet leaking. this dude is awesome. I'm more than happy with the work, the price, the can and will do attitude. He told me he can organize my garage for me only 3 letters can describe the outcome (OMG) it looked like something from the HG channel. His work is nothing short of impressive. After my wife and I save some pennies we'll have more work for him.
