We had a toilet tank crack on us, and repair was not an option. I ordered a toilet to be delivered from Home Depot the next day. Then I reached out on Thumbtack for quotes. Antonio's was the most competitive price. I found him to be incredibly responsive, polite, and very flexible. He arrived an hour after the toilet was delivered, removed the old toilet, installed the new one, and hauled away the old one. Left the place spic and span, too. All for half the price of a big plumbing outfit. He's a pro. I will be hirimg him for all our plumbing needs going forward.

Wasn't expecting to get any work done on a Sunday. Reached out to Salvador early Sunday morning. Later that afternoon he said he was in the area and would stop by to see how big the job was. He said he'd be done in an hour. Sure enough he was done in an hour and my shower plumbing issue was fixed.

I contacted J.J Acevedo plumbing yesterday after bathroom sink and tub had a slow drain. House is historic and faucet is antique - the attention to detail and professionalism was outstanding. He needed to replace a few parts in the sink and needed to pick them up at Home Depot-same day service and provided receipt. Will definitely call him for future plumbing repair and maintenance.

JJ provided outstanding price, arrived on time, and did the task in approximately 15 minutes. I contacted a couple more companies here on after posting photos of the broken pipe, which I felt was purposefully destroyed by the tenant. JJ took a brief look at it and estimated the cost in three minutes. Some others needed to come out and investigate the matter. Many will use any emergency request and charge an additional fee, and weekends are a bit more costly. Here's the thing: any call about a leaking pipe is an emergency, whether it's trickling every five minutes or gushing. Nevertheless, I hope JJ maintains reasonable pricing, and remember those who used the service and gave him positive feedback to encourage others to give him a call. I'm only saying this because I've noticed that as some of these smaller companies here when they began to earn more customers, several were too busy for their former customers' modest work, and many are now pricing themselves out of jobs. Maybe they don't want to do it, and this is their technique to avoid doing the other small or even bigger jobs. Thank you again, JJ.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
About 22 years ago I started working as a plumber doing pipe grout installation, doing all the principal drains before house construction and building.
