- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first discuss what goals the customer has, then we will set a schedule and a timeline for achieving those goals. I am an expert at teaching and helping anyone of any skill level improve. I am also very available to answer questions, will respond to texts ASAP, I always give homework and set attainable goals that will help the customer improve their skills more than they ever could have imagined.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of world-class training, dancing and teaching. Received training at the top institutions in the Nation- The Juilliard School, San Francisco Ballet, The Harid Conservatory, Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Atlanta Ballet. Nine years dancing with San Francisco Ballet, one of the top companies in the world, performing soloist and principle roles. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the prestigious Juilliard School in New York, I also have a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in instruction and curriculum.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I taught ballet weekly at Larkin Dance Studio, the top competition studio in MN, and Ballet Royale MN, Minnesota’s Premier Ballet Academy. I began giving private dance lessons to students at these studios who were preparing for competitions such as Nuvo, Radix, and Youth America Grand Prix. What began as four private lessons a month has now turned into well over 70 and I am opening up my schedule due to the high demand.
