I am a photographer based in the DMV area (Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland) who primarily focuses on portraits, family, maternity, and events such as birthdays, baptisms, first communions, and more. In May 2014, I took my first photography course. At that time, I had just learned how to use a professional camera, and my passion for photography was just beginning. Many things have changed since then. Photography started as a hobby—I was always the one capturing moments, whether it was flowers, trees, landscapes, parties, events, or family gatherings. As a photographer, I feel fortunate to see beauty all around us and to preserve it uniquely. A few years ago, I lost my dad, and that experience made me realize just how important professional photography is. The photos I have of him allow me to hold onto his memory, to feel connected to him even though he is no longer here. That deepened my understanding of the true value of photography—it’s not just about pictures; it’s about preserving the moments and people we love. One day, a good friend encouraged me to take my photography hobby to the next level.
