Introduction: My focus is alignment within the self. I’ve been teaching yoga full time for almost nine years. I lead public classes, have led teacher training programs for local studios, and work one on one with clients. I've completed both my 200 and 300 hour yoga trainings with the latter being an introduction to the principles of yoga therapy. I hold certifications under the Functional Range System of Movement to teach joint health/mobility work. My goal is to blend your mind/body/breath goals with an approachable, fun, alignment-focused (safe) yoga practice. I’d love to share what I know and introduce you to the benefits of going within and working from the inside out: bring balance to the body/mind/breath, improve mobility, heightened awareness, a sense of well being, and deep relaxation.

I think that Jewels is the best yoga instructor around. Her light heartedness is unmatched; and her appreciation for the art comes through in every class. This is what we want from yoga leadership... not just knowledge, but also honesty and a deeply rooted kindness in spirit.

Jewels was amazing! She agreed to do a few classes for the kids at my high school during their very stressful finals week. Both students and staff loved the sessions and requested more. Jewels provided a great movement session where students were introduced to stretching and moving their body in healthy ways. I will definitely be working with Jewels in the future.

Jewels is authentic in her approach to yoga. She is very knowledgeable about the human anatomy. Also, her music and pace are on point. She is steady and consistent with her practice. I always leave her class feeling rejuvenated, challenged in all the positive ways, and a new perspective. Love her practice!
