FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After sending my quote, I would suggest to talk over the phone about negotiating rates, schedule and plan. I like to meet with them a first time not for a class but to know more about my potential student's goals and commitment. In that meeting I can diagnose the knowledge he/she has to know where to start and we agree on meeting location. Normally this meeting is in a public place like a cafe or a Library.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native Spanish speaker, I have an ESL degree from Guatemala. I worked as the Director of the Spanish Program in a Language School. I studied Legal Translation-Interpretation.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers that worked in the Department of State and that is why they needed to learn Spanish to work abroad. I have worked with children from Kindergarten to Elementary and Middle School. I have worked with retirees that just wanted to learn Spanish for their near vacation in Costa Rica. I have worked with college students that needed some assistance to pass a course.
