The both gentlemen who conducted the evaluation demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and a high level of technical skill. I also appreciate the prompt response and the effort taken to arrive at my home in a timely manner.I paid to have my ceiling cut open in order to identify a water-leak issue coming from the upstairs hallway bathroom tub. Prior to the inspection, excessive water had been pouring from the living-room light fixture, so it was reasonable to expect the leak to originate from above. The technicians cut the ceiling in four separate areas; however, they reported that no water was coming from the tub, which I find unusual given the severity of the leak because we have a video proof which shows different. That said, I would have appreciated greater discretion could be exercised when communicating certain details to customers on invoice. Given the current economic climate and the fact that many individuals, including myself, are paying out-of-pocket, these situations can already be highly stressful. In such circumstances, it is important to consider whether all information being conveyed is necessary or beneficial for the customer to hear at that moment. If this were one's own home assessment, a more thoughtful and measured approach might be preferred.Because even minor details can influence the outcome of an assessment, sharing information that may not be essential can create additional worry and uncertainty. While transparency is valued, balancing it with sensitivity is equally important to ensure a positive customer experience. In addition, the drywall cuts was left behind for us to clean up ourselves. I was not informed that cleanup would not be included in the cut fee, and I feel this should have been clarified in advance.Nevertheless, I trust that the team has provided excellent service to many clients, and I am confident that the process will ultimately result in a favorable outcome.Responding to the owners message December 12, 2025I would like to provide clarification regarding the technicians recent visit to service our bathroom. Prior to the appointment, we removed the shower curtain along with several other bathroom items to ensure the technician had full access to the area. This is the same approach we used in the living room, where we temporarily removed furniture such as sofas and tables to allow appropriate workspace. How dare you imply that I was attempting to deceive the insurance company. If that had been my intention, I would have asked for the statement to be removed entirely. Instead, I simply asked what relevance it had regarding the shower curtain l, considering your technician made no mention of my living room furniture being moved from its usual location. It struck me as highly inconsistent and frankly, odd that he specifically pointed out the absence of a shower curtain when other items were also temporarily relocated to allow him to work. This is precisely why I contacted your office for clarification. The detail included in the report was neither relevant nor reflective of the actual circumstances. When asked whether I wanted the note removed, I chose to leave it only to avoid appearing deceitful not because the notation made sense or was necessary.I hope this provides clear context and helps prevent similar misunderstandings in future service visits.Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you felt our technician was professional, courteous, and skilled, and that our team responded promptly to your call.
We would, however, like to clarify the details of the service visit for accuracy.
You contacted us due to water leaking through your ceiling. Upon evaluation, our technician thoroughly inspected the area, including opening drywall to rule out any plumbing-related leaks. No plumbing pipes, fittings, or fixtures were found to be leaking, and there was no evidence of a plumbing failure in the areas inspected.
What was found was water damage occurring outside the bathtub due to water leaving the shower area. Our technician noted that there was no shower curtain or barrier in place, which is the most likely cause of the water reaching the flooring and ceiling below. As a licensed plumbing contractor, we are required to document factual findings on all invoices and reports. This ensures accuracy, protects both the customer and our company, and provides the transparency that insurance carriers expect when reviewing claims.
We understand concerns about cost and, in good faith, discounted our evaluation by nearly 50%, even though the issue did not originate from a plumbing failure. Our goal is always to be fair, honest, and helpful—even when the problem falls outside the plumbing system.
We certainly empathize that home repairs can be stressful, especially when paying out-of-pocket, but we also cannot alter or omit factual findings for any purpose, including insurance submissions. Providing accurate documentation is part of our responsibility as a licensed service provider.
If you have any further questions or need clarification on the findings, we are more than happy to discuss them with you directly.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you.

Joie and Kevin were pleasant and professional while replacing the water line from my well to my house. They arrived on time, ready to work (despite utility services taking forever to arrive). They filled me in on every aspect of what they would be doing and when. They never once acted like I was inconveniencing them by all the questions I was asking (more or less genuine curiousity considering I handle 95% of my own home repairs). Thanks again gentlemen, I would recommend them to anyone I know in a heartbeat.Workhorse was not the cheapest option, just putting that out there. What solidified my choice with workhorse was the overall customer service experience, the knowledge presented during the estimation phase, and the pride that these tradesmen showed while completing the work. To have quality workmanship and great service, I will gladly pay a little more for that.
