Carters Handyman Services did an excellent job for me. I needed to have tape cracking drywall repairs done in the wall to ceiling joints in two rooms that had cathedral ceilings. He made the repairs and did an excellent job of painting both rooms for a very fair price.

This guy is a scam. He was hired to install a faucet and messed up my plumbing underneath, causing water damage all through my basement ceiling. I should’ve known he didn’t know what he was doing since it took him over 7hrs in two days to install it. Apparently, his girlfriend is his “helper” too which made it even more annoying. After I got a certified plumber to come patch up the mess Carter made two days later, Carter began making excuses of how he wasn’t the cause of the leak (even after the plumber told him what was done wrong with the install and how it was “100% his fault”).It was over $1800 worth of damage done. He didn’t have insurance and I gave him a chance to fix it but, of course, it wasn’t satisfactory. He was asked to make sure the paint was uniform with the rest of the ceiling but didnt do that. Everyone knows that you’d have to paint the entire ceiling in order for it not to look ‘patchy’ but he refused to do that. Once it dried and I could see the patch work, I let him know but he ignored me (or has my number blocked). I’m seriously thinking about taking this guy to small claims court. He also did terrible work patching up a whole in one of my closets and wasn’t able to repair my blinds that just needed to be secured from the top. He talks a lot too. #notworththeheadache
