Fred was awesome to work with! He was quick to respond to all my questions, was flexible the day of when we asked if he could do another quick side job (installing an outlet), he did good quality work on installing my dishwasher and garbage disposal, and he was very affordable. I would definitely hire again!

We were wanting to rebuild our stairs to create a pantry underneath. We needed help building the stringers and we did the rest of the work. Fred did a great job cutting them and his price was reasonable. He said we could contact him if we had any problems with the installation. We did run into an issue and ended up calling him, he was there to help us.

I reached out to have my disorganized 6 interior doors trimmed and rehung, he came and figured it all out as to where they even belonged so he could get them resized correctly. He went above and beyond my expectations spending extra time to make sure everything was right, he left my house clean even though the job wasn’t. He also worked on odd tasks that I didn’t know how to solve myself ie lights weren’t working but now we know why and he’s coming back to fix them! :) He made quick work of what tasks I’ve been dreading to even look at. He was a joy to speak with and have work on my home, can’t wait to have him back soon as I have more on my todo list that he is much more capable of taking care of then I. I’d previously heard horror stories of people coming to do work and it was overpriced as well as done completely wrong so I was very hesitant, but once I saw his work ethic and knowledge I was quickly put at ease .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*4 HR MINIMUM* I offer 10% off of all labor for military and first responders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Though I am flexible, most of the time I bid the labor and have the customer reimburse for materials. For jobs with materials over $100, I will sometimes ask for a deposit toward materials or have the customer do a pay by phone at Lowe’s or HD.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Renters, home owners, landlords, property managers, and out of state customers who have projects here in Hampton Roads.
