Absolute professional from the beginning to the end. She is very responsive to communication and very accommodating. Her price was totally worth it and it was a value. My daughter looked so beautiful with her make up for prom. I would definitely use this make up artist again and again and again.

So the story begins, it was the day before New Years Eve I had everything ready- shoes (check), Dress (check), nails (check), Hair (check) make up (OH NO)! So I started to panic, I am new to VA what am I going to do?!?! I decided to try ThumbTack to see if I could find a local makeup artist. I said "Jesus take the wheel and drive fast"!!
Within moments Ms. Lisa Rose wrote me back. She provided an detailed over view of her services, price and weblink to view online portfolio. I was very impressed. She event accommodated my time request even though it was New Years Eve. She was extremely flexible.
New Years Eve, I went to her home because she was booked up. I was greeted with a warm smile. Her room looked like a professional makeup studio. She talked with me about my skin type and what look I was trying to achieve. After a few moments, she went to work. We talked and laughed. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Throughout the process, she had me look at the mirror occasionally to make sure I was happy with the look she was creating for me. I was elated:) An 1.5 hours later, Lisa showed me the mirror one final time. I was so beautiful - I was speechless.
Bottom line, if you are looking for quality no need to look any further. Lisa will take great care of you. I am scheduling another appointment with her next month for another event I am attending. I promise you will not be disappointed. Customer for Life!!! Thank you Lisa Rose!!

Lisa was INCREDIBLE I can not get over how amazing of a job she did. So professional and I felt like I was getting a 500 dollar make over thats how incredible she was. My background is in the theater. Using that knowledge and experience I have taught myself, through study,
trial and error, how to apply beauty makeup for all skin tones, undertones and skin types. I currently continue honing and learning by taking classes with established makeup artist. I take pride in my makeup artistry and love working with women of all ages and backgrounds to customize looks especially for your special day!
