Latasha and her crew did an amazing job! Very detailed, touching most surfaces. All light fixtures, furniture, bathrooms, flooring, sparkles and smells so clean. I have a tidy house but with high ceilings and it was dusty. Baseboards, window sill,pictures mirrors were cleaned. Moved and cleaned behind and under furniture. This was first experience with Latasha and I must give her five STARS. SHE'S VERY GOOD. Didn't quit working until she finished. I'm going to have her back to clean every two weeks next year. Be VERY cautious hiring - in the beginning (phone interview) everything seemed fine. Made Natasha aware I had a big house but only wanted main floor done. Was completely honest that I am not a good housekeeper, that we have two dogs & three cats and that this was a deep clean. (Which she said she appreciated my honesty knowing for a first time clean it probably should be a deep clean) She seemed ok with all that - quoted me a price and we made the appt. Looking back I think perhaps if she had come to see our space/situation first she may have turned down our job or made sure she had some help. She may retort here with pictures and comments but I have already said I am a terrible housekeeper (hence why I hired a “professional”). Natasha said and I quote “...I honestly haven't been met with quite this much work in a very long time, even for a deep clean.” This comment was made at the end of her second day cleaning the main floor of a 2200 sq. foot house - living room, dining room , kitchen, master bed/bath and half bath. (Which she admitted she didn’t finish because I told her she needed to be done before I got home the second day because I was so frustrated with her saying she’d be done by a certain time then she didn’t make her own deadlines). Major points that need improvement * Be on time (hour & 1/2 late the first day and about 15 min late the second day) * Your team calling out on you is not my problem. * You being an hour and a half late the first day because you needed to go pick up your special cleaner is not my problem. * When you break something reveal and take care of (as you promised when I asked before you even started) or adjust final bill accordingly * Assess your job before committing to it (seems you were overwhelmed with our house and should not have tackled it alone) * Manage your time better - asking to come back a second day to complete my house because you thought you could reschedule your next client because my job is taking too long is not a good way to make me happy when I am on a tight schedule (not to mention what the other client may have thought) * Know that had you worked with me on the bill a little more that I may have just paid you and moved on and not left this review but here we are. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COMPANY AND EXPERIENCE!! They arrived over an hour and a half late and couldn’t even finish cleaning all in one day. They brought a baby to our home which we were fine with until they spent more time playing with the baby than cleaning our home and doing their job! Blamed us for losing a client because they didn’t allot enough time to clean our place. She would send me photos saying how dirty our place was and tell us what she wasn’t going to do. The staff broke a leg off our kitchen table and then broke a couple of our wine bottles. We wanted a refund due to the damage and lack of cleaning and the owner, Natasha, refused and then went on to be disrespectful and have the police escort her to get the rest of her stuff that she left at our house. We were left with damaged property, a partial refund and she didn’t even finish cleaning our condo. I would not recommend this company to anyone. She left us to scramble and clean our condo in the middle of moving - we were left to mop and vacuum all the floors, clean the shower, clean the countertops in the kitchen and both vacuums, clean the inside of our appliances, and clean all the windows, mirrors and glass. All she got done was dusting and wiping down the top of our refrigerator within over 4 HOURS! Completely unprofessional and disrespectful company and staff. I really enjoyed having Canari Clean help me with my new apartment. What made it so great was how kind and wonderful Natasha was. She had a great positive energy and she did a great job! Quick and clean! I moved into a new apartment and the floors were so dusty! After Natasha came over, I could actually walk barefoot and enjoy it. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Customers should know my pricing is below average but I think everyone should be able to get a thoroughly cleaned house within their budget. The customer should also know that pricing for 'add-ons' start at $15, using specialty products (ie. Bona, Mold & Mildew remover, Heavy Duty Degreaser, etc) is extra & I charge a standard service fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I really like to get a full understanding of what the customer needs so that I can provide an accurate quote along with an in-home assessment or the customer sending pictures of the areas that need attention.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Self trained... I've been cleaning houses half my life.
