- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We work on an hourly rate of $150, or a fixed-fee arrangement for the client's desired design budget. When doing materials or furniture/decor purchasing on behalf of the client, the trade discount is passed along (when available) to save the client money!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to start with a 20-30 minute, Introductory Call to get some background, ask questions, and see if we're a good fit for the project. Then we schedule a 1-hour, in-person, Initial Consultation at the client's home (or Zoom call) to discuss more details, design style, and see the spaces. Once a scope of work, timeline, and budget is agreed to, we start the design work by creating Design Concepts, sending Selections Options visuals, and working collaboratively with the client to create and realize a beautiful design!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters of Fine Arts - Interior Design from The George Washington University, class of 2006. 15 years of experience in the Interior Design industry, working in hospitality design (restaurants & hotels) and residential design (renovations, additions, and general furniture & decor). Started company in 2010 to provide homeowners with caring attention to detail, beautiful designs for all budgets, and excellent client services.
