Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Approach: I take a consultant's approach with my clients. I am here to help you make informed decisions about the potential purchase or sale of your property, and to provide you with choices throughout the process. I am not here to “SELL YOU”. That is a major philosophical difference that you’ll realize when you work with me. Experience: I began my real estate career in 1991 at with Shannon and Luchs REALTORS® in Vienna. In my career, I have worked in varied capacities including new home sales, leasing, training real estate sales people on marketing and sales, and intermediate and executive level asset management services. I have been with Keller Williams Realty as a licensed salesperson since 2005. Technology: You’ll have the advantage of all the best technology to provide you with maximum marketing exposure for your home, easy to schedule showings, secured and traceable access to your home, efficient follow up, and convenient communications. Clients for Life: My goal is you will think of me as your real estate resource for life, even if you move out of the area. I love getting emails and calls from past clients asking for real estate insights, referrals, opinions or services even many years after we’ve done business together. About 80% of my business comes from referrals or repeat clients. Personal: I am a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, and the daughter of a builder. I live and breath this business. My Commitment to You: The sale or purchase of your home is a major financial and emotional transaction that will dramatically impact your life, short and long term. You are not my customer, you are my client. I will provide you with the individual attention you deserve and the customized service you need. The service you need. When you need it. I help people make the dream of homeownership a reality every day, what could be better than that?

Making a decision to sell my home was difficult, but deciding to have Vicky at my side made EVERYTHING much easier. I recall her walking thru my home and looking at a wall I had painted with these lovely stripes. "How do you feel about painting over this wall?", she said. I took that moment to burst into tears! Now your average Realtor may have opted to run at this point... Not Vicky! She took advantage of the moment to talk to me about how I did the stripes and how long it took. She "pretended" along with me that "maybe" the new owners would love the strips as much as I did. The wall never got painted but the tears went away. There are SO many stories about putting my house on the market I could share, but most important to me is that fact that Vicky still remembers more about my home than I do! I lived there for years but the time she took to know about me and my family and about every inch of our home was a selling point. I would never attempt to buy or sell a home without her! Her desire to have knowledge of my needs and her caring thoughtful presentation will NEVER be forgotten! To date, Vicky has assisted not just me, but my parents, two of my children and several of my friends. I have never heard a negative comment and when I mention her name I always get a huge smile. So if your looking for the "NOT YOUR AVERAGE" Realtor, give her a call! Her dedication to YOUR needs will be OUTSTANDING!!!!!

My daughter used Vicky Chrisner to find her home. I was living out of state at the time but I was so impressed with Vicky (I was visiting and met her) that I decided to move down here. Never looked for a realtor since I knew I would be using Vicky. She was the most honest and helpful realtor I have ever used (bought the first house in 1978). If you want to buy/sell a house--call Vicky. She truly loves her job and is always there to help her customers. THANKS VICKY

Any agent can pull listings and show you houses. Vicki stood out from the rest when it came time to close the deal. She has strong negotiating skills and was on top of everything during the time from acceptance of our offer to closing. I am here for a three year assignment and will be using her when it is time to relocate.

I had the pleasure of working with Vicky Chrisner for over a year looking for the perfect home. I can't begin to describe the effort she is willing to put out to find the home of your dreams. Hardworking doesn't even begin to describe her. We literally searched all over Northern Virginia and then some. We were even chased by chickens. On top of it all she is kind, courteous, professional and good humored. You simply could not find a better real estate agent, period.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

How do real estate agents get paid? Honestly, it depends on the type of service you're looking for. However, in a "typical" residential transaction, sellers agree to pay their listing brokerage a percentage of the sales price (commission) at closing. That commission is usually split evenly between the listing/marketing brokerage (aka the seller's agent) and the buyer's agent's brokerage. So buyers rarely pay for their own agent! Sellers, on the other hand, should be prepared to "pay double". In a Short Sale, the commission for both agents is typically covered by the seller's bank, as an approved part of the closing costs. There are other less traditional service arrangements and compensation packages vary, so be sure to discuss this with your agent in your initial interview.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Real estate, in one capacity or another, is really all I have ever done. It's in my blood. My dad was a builder... I learned to read a blue print before I could read a book.
