FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is priced individually, at the time of service. Each estimate/proposal is carefully calculated to reflect current material prices. Each contract states the items that are or are not included, no one likes surprise expenses. Occasionally, there are unforseen issues such as damages from water or termites. Any suspicions will be discussed promptly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the customer directly. Typically the customer provides some basic information such as the property location, scope of work, timeline and possibly photographs by email. If the scope of work and location are appropriate, I usually meet to view and go over the project details. During this meeting I will provide any helpful tips or suggestions that I may have. After we meet, you can expect to recieve an estimate/proposal by email. Customers can choose to email or call with questions, concerns or project changes. Once satisfied with the estimate/proposal, a contract is signed and the job is scheduled. Payments are often due at scheduled installments outlined in each contract. Customer satisfaction and job affordability are my goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 24 years experience in residential and commercial maintenance and remodeling. I am EPA certified to test and remove lead paint which is required for all trades for structures built before 1979.
