Shane did an excellent job. He responded immediately and came the next day. He fixed our mailbox and made good suggestions for the repair. In addition he completed another plumbing job for us with our water filter. We highly recommend Shane and would hire him again.

I'd been searching for weeks for a qualified professional to install a shade sail. I finally happened upon Shane's profile on Thumbtack, and he responded quickly.
The project ended up taking 2 visits, as we determined it would be necessary to cement beams in the ground to achieve my goal of blocking the blistering sun, which Shane gamely worked in without complaint.
The picture doesn't show the finished product yet (I plan to distribute the cumbersome yearly-purchase umbrellas, and plant climbing vines on the beams in autumn), but I can't him enough for communication, friendliness, expertise, efficiency, attention to detail, and care. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of workmanship. Thank you, Shane!

Shane responded to my inquiry so quickly and was here that afternoon! He put together a tedious hall tree in half the time it would have taken me. He was professional, fast, and definitely a pro for this task. I will definitely be hiring Shane again!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to keep pricing straightforward and transparent. Many common tasks can be quoted as a flat rate; if the scope of work is unknown, I may quote hourly until it’s diagnosed. Materials/disposal (if needed) are separate, and longer-distance jobs may include a travel fee. No surprise charges—anything extra gets approved before I proceed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You message me with a quick description + photos (if possible).
2. I ask a few questions, then give a clear estimate (or schedule a quick look if needed).
3. We set a time, I show up on time, protect the area, complete the work, and clean up.
4. We do a walkthrough so you can confirm everything looks right before I leave.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of hands-on experience doing residential repairs, installs, and general home improvement work (many projects similar to new construction and remodel-type tasks). I follow manufacturer instructions and best practices, and I’m careful about safety, protecting your home, and doing the job the right way—not the fast way.
