FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to keep pricing straightforward and transparent. Many common tasks can be quoted as a flat rate; if the scope of work is unknown, I may quote hourly until it’s diagnosed. Materials/disposal (if needed) are separate, and longer-distance jobs may include a travel fee. No surprise charges—anything extra gets approved before I proceed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. You message me with a quick description + photos (if possible). 2. I ask a few questions, then give a clear estimate (or schedule a quick look if needed). 3. We set a time, I show up on time, protect the area, complete the work, and clean up. 4. We do a walkthrough so you can confirm everything looks right before I leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of hands-on experience doing residential repairs, installs, and general home improvement work (many projects similar to new construction and remodel-type tasks). I follow manufacturer instructions and best practices, and I’m careful about safety, protecting your home, and doing the job the right way—not the fast way.
