We purchased a NEST thermostat online to replace our old Honeywell in an apartment that we rent out. We had a NEST in our own home and loved the convenience of being able to use our phone to control the thermostat. Our electrician installed the NEST thermostat but he could not make it function. We had a very small window within which to complete the installation because we our tenants were moving in. I called Brian who is an expert HVAC technician after reading his reviews, He told me right off the bat that I probably installed the wrong NEST thermostat because depending on the type of Nest, its Generation and model number, some NESTS were more compatible with older/existing HVAC systems than others. I removed my Honeywell thermostat cover, took a photo of the existing wiring configuration and emailed it to Brian. I also asked Brian to purchase the Nest thermostat that would likely be compatible with our existing HVAC system. Brian arrived on a Sunday and worked on the unit diligently until everything worked. He was patient and went through the installation cycle and the downloading of the App on my phone. It took a couple of hours but now it works like a charm. Brian is the consummate professional and the guy you want to call. I returned the NEST thermostat I had purchased online.

We hired Mr. Lawthorn to install two strings of recessed lights, relocate one chandelier and instrall another. He is punctual, very professional and his estimate is spot on. He cleans up the work area daily. Most important to me that my wife is very satisfied with his work and we would hire him again for our next project.
