December 2023, I submitted a request for Deck contractors that could upgrade my rotted wood deck to composite. After meeting with 5 companies, I selected HCS because of: 1)Presentation and detailed explanation of the job, 2) on-site project manager 3) workers are employees and 4) value compared to other quotes. This happy customer, plan to use their service in the future, and now a few of my neighbors are interested.

Christian and his folks did an outstanding job restoring my deck with Trex. Christian answered all of my questions and provided several options. He pointed out nail holes that would be visible from the old joists and I mentioned I would fill with wood putty after the job was done. Christian went and got the putty and his crew filled the holes without even mentioning until I noticed the next day. It's the little things like this that make me stick with a company for future projects.

Hired HCS Exterior to replace my window wells (shown here) and to repair my retaining wall. Project Manager, Cristian, is always a pleasure to work with. He's very professional and responsive. The team that does the demo and installation are wonderful. They work super hard and super fast and the quality is fantastic. The prices are also reasonable (for this area) and the company can offer a variety of finishing options to work with your aesthetic and budget. I would highly recommend them.

July 2023: My deck was in serious need of repair after my foot fell through one portion. I was not ready to pay $13,000.00 for a new composite deck and saw HCS advertised on FACEBOOK and took a chance. Glad I did. For a 1/3 of the cost, Christian and his team performed a miracle on my deck, and it looks amazing. They were diligent, professional and really went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied even keeping the original design. The consultation included a walk through with me showing me the exact areas that could be salvaged and those that could not. The written estimate was provided within 24 hours and was the best final no haggle offer with a discount already included. The work was completed in 2 1/2 days. Christian made visits to ensure the work was progressing and met the standards and approved the final project before revealing it to me. Definitely recommend them...
