Peter responded to my request in less than a day, provided an estimate, and suggested some alternate solutions. He was very knowledgeable and we ended up going with Peters recommendations for hardwood flooring. Peter has an excellent craftsman who did a hardwood mule step for us. His workers were courteous, professional and worked quickly. The final product was amazing, and we were pleased with flooring. I would 100% recommend Peter for your stair and flooring needs.

Couldn't recommend Peter more - 5/5 stars. Highly communicative and consultative, it was clear that Peter wanted us to have exactly what we were looking for. Excuse the mess in the photos; took these kind of mid-flight as we were moving things out of the way / doing some other reno work. We replaced 2,500 sq ft of flooring, as well as our main foyer stairway. The downstairs was a mix of manufacturer grade, 2" thick, red oak strips and carpeting; the stairway and entire 2nd floor (except the bathrooms - which were faux tile / laminate) was carpeted. Peter's demo / installation team were timely, professional, friendly / easy to work with, and ultimately did a great job. The punch list at the end of the project was minimal which was a welcome change - usually, whole house projects end with a laundry list of problems and things that need fixing; this one didn't. The few items that we (my wife) hawk-eyed, were fixed without any pain or argument from Peter et al. Peter has a custom stain guy which really helped to seal the deal for us. If you're installing LVP, it can be difficult to find the matching components for various floor elements e.g. bullnose / stair-nose, quarter-round, transition strips, etc. The custom stained red oak is a perfect match to our LVP, and way stronger than what you'll get from LVP suppliers (if they even have matching options). Peter is kind of a one-stop shop for a lot of this stuff - we also used his stair runner connection to install complementary grey carpet runners on both of our stairways, as well as his painter who touched up all of our baseboards with fresh caulk and glossy white. If you want a Project Manager who takes pride in his work, listens to what you want, solves the problems you identify, and genuinely cares about your home and project, I would highly encourage you to contact PF.

Peter and his crew did great work for us. We were on a tight schedule before moving out of our house, and we needed to replace the flooring in our basement and in upstairs bedrooms. Peter came out and gave us complete proposals very quickly. He also gave us advice in terms of what to do (we weren't sure about laminate vs. carpet). The work was done according to schedule, and it was done very well. The pricing was also very reasonable. Thank you Peter and team for a job done well, and done fast. Would certainly re-hire for flooring work!

We got quotes from several flooring installers, while most just simply nodded along and provided a quote, Peter provided recommendations and options, and was actively involved in our planning. And when we made an additional request (installing diagonally), he quickly responded with a revised estimate. The installers were professional and did good work, especially considering our weird diagonal install. When an unforeseen problem was encountered, they co-ordinated with Peter and I was quickly given my options and prices for resolving the problem. The work was completed and looks great.
