Do you know what you want? This is a difficult concept for many landscaping companies to accept. We had a handful of very specific landscaping needs: remove some shrubs, plant some evergreens we’d purchase in their place, cover with mulch and clear the backyard of landscaping stones. To the uninitiated, this seems pretty straightforward but after several estimates it became clear that we would be paying between 1800 and 4000 dollars for sod and hardscaping, expensive bushes and weeding, burying gutter pipes that don’t bother us and maybe installing a fireplace. Luckily, Eric with Marigold didn’t think we were morons and offered to do only the jobs we wanted for a totally reasonable price, a fraction of our lowest estimate. He came the next day and finished everything he started for the agreed upon price, even pointing out some hazards he found along the way. He didn’t try to upsell us on some unnecessary work, he just did what we asked. Trust Marigold, because Marigold trusts you.
