We really love our beautiful pool and Spa from Icon Pools. Hanging out in our backyard with our friends and family is so peaceful and relaxing. Theres no reason to take a vacation elsewhere when you only need to step outside your backdoor into your own oasis.

We began working with Icon Custom Pools (formerly Blue Haven Pools) in July 2025, and the experience has been fantastic from day one. Our first meeting was with Carrie, who took the time to truly understand our vision and patiently walk us through every question we had. Just a few days later, she returned with a stunning design rendering and once again made sure we felt confident and informed before moving forward. We signed the contract shortly after, and the project was underway.Once construction began, we quickly learned that our yard is essentially built on a quarrythere was far more rock than anyone expected. Nate handled the challenge exceptionally well. He worked tirelessly to keep additional costs down and minimize any impact on the schedule, which we greatly appreciated.Throughout the process, Carrie has continued to guide us through design decisions like tile and color selections, while Nate has kept the build moving smoothly and efficiently. Their subcontractors have also been wonderfulprofessional, respectful, and a pleasure to have on-site, which is increasingly rare these days.Were now in the final stages of the build and couldnt be more excited. We cant wait to enjoy our beautiful new pool all season long.

We selected Icon Pools (formerly Blue Haven Pools) out of the three companies that we received bids from in 2024 and we are so happy that we did! From the sales experience with Pete C to the construction PMs, Nate and Ryan, as well as Jamie in the office, every person with whom we interacted was professional, caring, and great at their jobs. But let me start from the beginning.We did not plan this for years, think out every feature we wanted, and meticulously go through the process. Instead, we decided in late February 2024, hey, lets get a pool and reached out to 3 local companies (one is a BIG national company, the other a small local company, and the third was Iconlocally owned. From the beginning, Pete C, our sales person was the MOST responsive, most available, and easiest to communicate with of all the salespeople. He came out within a day of our call to walk the property (nobody else was that fast!), shared ideas, listened to us (even though we didnt really know what we wanted, except NOT the most expensive pool ever!), and worked with our budget. Our yard isnt large..just over a quarter acre, and my goal was most swimming space possible so we went with a 14 by 30 rectangle, no sun shelf, 3.5-6 feet deep, sheer descent at the far end and all standard selections except the plaster (Quartzscapes Aruba Sky). Everything was selected at contract time, but if I had to do it again, I would take more time with those selections and make sure I had samples in my hand for a few days to compare. We signed our contract on March 8th, permits were requested on March 11 and werent received from our county until April 22 (!!).With permits in hand on April 22, Icons team (and I mean team! The owner, Tyler, the PMs, Nate and Ryan, and Sales Guy, Pete,) all arrived three days later to walk the property, confirm the design done at the Icon offices, and rope off the pool space. They were fast, confidence-inspiring, fun and friendlythats one thing about Icon, we genuinely LIKED every person with whom we came in contact from the company.Construction started 4/29/24 with the big digno rocks were found, so we won the lottery on that front! Things progressed quickly after that: steel on 5/2-3, plumbing on 5/7, Gunite on 5/13, equipment delivered and installed on 5/20, electrical complete on 5/21, tile and coping on 5/28, patio built 6/11-13, and plaster and fill on 6/27/24. Sixty (60!) days dig to fill!We are now two years in and we love it! Pool school was amazing just a few weeks after fill and we opted to use Icon for service for the first two summers (2024 and 2025) and the service team has been fantasticagain all incredibly likable, knowledgeable, fun peopleespecially Tony who did our pool school and is the service manager! I will be taking on the maintenance this year though we still plan to have Icon open and close our poolopening is scheduled for April 29 and Ill post pictures right away! (Even though Ill be doing the maintenance this year, I feel confident that if I have a problem, I can reach out to Icon and they would be happy to help/provide advice!) We had a few issues with our plaster almost immediately after fill, but Icon was 100% responsive and forward-leaning on solving the problem and the plaster issue was completely resolved in July 2025 with a week-long low alkalinity bath that fixed all the issues. It is gorgeous!In summary, if youre on the fence between pool companies we would highly encourage you to go with Icon. From the construction team, office staff, and leadership to the service and operations department, we could not be more pleased with the outcome. Best of luck to those considering a pool.
